Steven Bathory-Peeler composes concert music ranging from instrumental solos to chamber music and large-scale symphonic forms. Equally facile in vocal and instrumental idioms he has received commissions and grants from various organizations throughout the United States.

Steve is currently finishing his DMA in Composition at the Hartt School of Music where his primary teachers have been David Macbride, Robert Carl and Stephen Gryc. He is currently Director of Orchestras at Northfield Mount Hermon School in Gill, Massachusetts.
